  I just pulled my child from Kids of the Kingdom after only being there for 4 weeks. It sounded SO great for the summer with all of the field trips that were scheduled and that meals were included. The reality is that the teacher in the 6-12 year old room never gets up with the children. She is overweight and sits in a chair the whole day - she cannot even turn her head to see what is going on behind her. So, the kids do WHATEVER they want. They show each other private parts, fight constantly, kiss each other, boys go in the girls bathrooms and peek under the stalls ALL day, and the kids learn NO respect. I have had my kid in 4 daycares in 6 years. She has been going to daycare daily since she was 2 months old. While you may say that these are typical kid stuff and she is just growing up, this doesn't happen anywhere else. Daily when I pick her up I am told yet another WILD story of what happened that day. Also, I have NEVER been so uncomfortable in a facility when I am there to pick her up or drop her off. The workers don't want the parents there - I asked about eating lunch with her and for the first time ever, I was told that they would prefer parents not to come for lunch. I have NEVER been told that from anywhere. I have a very social and outgoing little girl that begged NOT to be dropped off daily because she didn't like it. Even on field trip days - she would have rather been at my office all day than going to GattiLand or the Children's Museum. You have to listen to your gut instinct as a mom - and if you have any doubts about this place, just getyour kid out now. Don't wait for something to happen to them like the last woman. You cannot gamble with a life - it is too precious. As for me - my suggestion is to stay away from Kids of the Kingdom.

  Students at this daycare receive a preschool education that puts them well above public school pre-K education. Students are given various opportunities and methods to expand their knowledge and skills, while the well-experienced teachers guide them along the way. The classroom environment is always arranged to enhance student learning to its maximum potential.
